- This Code applies to all rigid roads up to 125 msa traffic flow. All rigid roads with existing traffic flows exceeding 30 msa must be identified by the authority, before the commencement of works, so that reinstatement requirements can be agreed.
- Some modern concrete roads constructed in accordance with current Government standards and specifications may incorporate special design philosophies that are beyond the scope of this Code. Similarly, there may be other existing rigid road designs that will also require the use of particular reinstatement methods. Such roads must also be identified by the authority, before the commencement of works, so that reinstatement requirements can be agreed.
